Place files in folders with Torrent Name

I've run myself ragged trying to find where I might be missing a configuration I would imagine must exist. When I download torrents, I turn off the window prompts to customize save locations and choose files, etc. I want torrents to start downloading when I add them and not bother me for more input. I have not found a way to have the system automatically place the completed files into a folder with the name of the torrent when complete. I have set the option to have files placed into a temporary directory until complete (which I noticed does use a folder with the torrent name). I just hate when I download a torrent that has 18 files, and another with 5 files, and another with x files. I end up with a folder full of files, and would like them to be grouped together in a folder with the torrent name for organization and knowing which files go with which.
Any possibility someone can explain how this can be done?

qBittorrent do that by default without any settings.
Anyway, check the option Tools - Options - Downloads - Save files to location. That will be the default storage folder for all completed torrents. They should go there with subfolders with their names and their files inside.

Ironcross,
Thanks for the reply. That's what I was expecting, but unfortunately that is not how it has been behaving. The only time I see that behavior, is if the torrent itself contains the files in a folder. If a torrent (for example) called Example Torrent was added, it would download the contents (File1, File2, File3) into the default folder identified for saving files. Thus I end up with a jumble of files in 1 directory. In this case, I download lots of torrents with various files in them, and have a mess of files, instead of logical folder sorting. I'm wondering if there is some option that I've marked off or something to modify the default behavior.

I have doubts regarding this too. I think this feature does not exist in qbittorrent yet. But this is related:
https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorrent/issues/6843
https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorr ... -294504570
In qBt
3.4 (Beta) is an option "
Create subfolder" when adding new torrent.
Also in qBt Options/Download i see "
Create subfolder for torrents with multiple files"
Yet, it do not create folder if a torrent contains only one file in a payload.

Hi,
If you go to :
Tools/Preferences/Downloads
There is a drop down box next to "torrent content layout"
in there you can select "create subfolder"

That's my thinking as well. When I first started using QB, it wasn't set to create a subfolder and some torrents just went into the default location. It made finding some torrents difficult because the name of the torrent isn't always the name of the file. Once I set QB to create a subfolder, then it placed everything inside a directory which has the same name as the torrent. I also set it to not ask about each torrent I started or if I added more torrent info from a different site.
To be honest, I wonder why creating a subfolder isn't the default. Then again, maybe there are more people who like it the other way. Hard to imagine tho.
