qBittorrent official forums

I wa used to micro torrent in MS WOS, i switched to Ubuntu AMD64, and I'm quite happy with qbittorrent.
But CPU usage is as high, as i can only use it when i'm not yusing other programs.
If there where any way of reduce CPU usage even as an option in the program it would be grat for me.

Processor AMD Athlon 64 3800 + // Geforce 7950 GX2 // 4Mb Kingston DDR

What kind of file system are you using?
Sometimes ntfs causing high cpu load, with torrent downloading.

Try ext3-4, xfs, or fat.
