Qbittorrent freezes on startup

I downloaded a torrent with 34,000+ files, and now Qbittorrent freezes on startup.

I know the situation could be remedied by pausing / deleting the torrent..

Since I cannot pause it, is there a way to delete the torrent info manually? Uninstalling does not work.

Anyone know the directory these files are kept on Windows XP?

Tried "C:\Documents and Settings\####\Application Data\qBittorrent" but the files are not in there.

C:\Users\"your_user"\AppData\Local\qBittorrent\BT_backup
Or run a search in the Start menu for "BT_backup".

Already did a search for BT_backup with no results.

Also the file directory you pointed out does not exist on my drive, even "run- %appdata%" brings me to

C:\Documents and Settings\####\Application Data

I'm not sure but I believe the directory you supplied is only on Windows Vista / 7

Only things in the file "C:\Documents and Settings\####\Application Data\qBittorrent"

are "qBittorrent.ini" and "qBittorrent-resume.ini"

For Windows XP:

C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\qBittorrent\BT_backup

Adapt for Windows Vista/7

This is a different location. You're trying:

C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data

but the correct is:
C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Local Settings\Application Data\qBittorrent\BT_backup
