Newbie: Trouble Uploading

Greetings,

I am running Windows XP, SP3 with qBittorrent 2.9.5.

Under the columns 'Seeds' and 'Peers' I typically see something like 1(10) or 0(25).

Q. Is the number inside the parentheses the number of connections which are available? And the number in front of the parentheses the number of peers/seeds that I am actually connected to?

The reason I ask is that even though my connection status shows 'Online' and is green, I almost never see any uploading activity going on. And never after I have completely downloaded and am trying to seed.

Right now I am trying to seed three torrents and for 'Peers', they show 0(4), 0(5), and 0(1), with a ratio of 0.0.

Q. If there are peers out there and my status is 'Online', why can't they connect?

Q. If I had them blocked at the router, or if my port mapping were incorrect, wouldn't my status show as 'Offline'?

Thanks

Maybe your settings/equipments is only blocking those certain users... just my guess.

One user or the other user "unconnectable" could cause what you are seeing. Less likely, you (seeding) or the other leechers may have a blocklist set for their or your IP address respectively.
Another thing that is possible... if the torrents are well seeded (like seedboxes) it becomes VERY hard to seed back especially if you don't have a lot of upload speed (compared to a seedbox).
