Hi, Much like uTorrent maximum connections are configurable but also based on your connection.
In general you can configure the following:
Maximum active Downloads
Maximum active Uploads
Maximum active Torrents

If you add more then whatever you set for the maximum it will then queue it as expected. Beyond those settings, any limitation you encounter I would expect to be a connection limitation (network speed, isp limits, congestion etc all influence this). If you limit the client to only allow 500 or so connections but allow 100 connections per torrent you might encounter limits that way and would need to set connections lower per torrent to accommodate.

Beyond that, I don't set mine high as queuing is the perfect solution for my use but haven't noticed any foul behavior.

Hope that is what you were asking.

so if you configures qB correctly you can add 3-4000 torrents with no problem.

I don't think anyone is out there testing torrent clients with so many torrents at once and doubt any are able to handle that many ACTIVE torrents let alone just any internet connection, and it would certainly take a long time to hash check the files (if they are completed).

Best advice, I don't have numbers, and if you are looking for a "server-class" torrent client look elsewhere... and expect that it'll be vary barebone setting-wise. (rTorrent? Which I know personally can handle at least 1600 ACTIVE torrents (which is run on a server and a dedicated internet line (aka seedbox)))

Ok, why i ask is that some people say that qB cant handle more than 999 active torrents, i was wondering if that is true.
