do you need to restart Qbittorent to apply advanced libtorrent settings?

been messing with various settings, seeing what works better for me... cache, etc...
and i was wondering if the changes you make in the advanced/libtorrent area, need a shut down and restart of Qbittorent for them to go into effect/apply? or is it instant?
