Hi, I'm new here. I looked around a bit but did not see anyone with my problem.
So basically I just want to create my own torrent file to share with a group of friends.
I followed this tutorial https://www.wikihow.it/Creare-un-Torrent (it's in Italian) but I have a problem:
when my friend add the torrent he sees "Peer 0 (1) Seed 0 (1)" but the torrent never start, I do not upload and he can not download.
We also tried the opposite, he created a torrent and I tried to download it but we had the same problem.

I have window 7 and he has 10. My version is v4.3.3.
I never change any of the default setting except for the default download folder.

Can anyone tell what the problem is?

Edit: I should also say that any torrent found on internet work just fine, both on download and upload.

Try adding a tracker. In my experience it is absolutely essential to get a torrent going and keep it going if there are few peers despite pundits claiming trackers are completely unnecessary.

Did you send a torrent file or a magnet link to each other?

I added all the traker in this list for the torrent http://www.torrenttrackerlist.com/torrent-tracker-list/.
We shared the .torrent file. He tried once giving me the magnet but I could not load the metadata.
