I faced one problem while using qBittorrent today, i.e. How to disable peer exchange, and other options like [DHT], [PeX], [LSD]? Some how at last I found the answer in some website.

The solution is:
Click on: Tools>Options>BitTorrent>

Click on and uncheck 'Enable DHT....', 'Enable Peer Exchange (PeX)....', 'Enable Local Peer .......', under "Privacy".

Its done. Then after you can check that all the above three are 'Disabled' in the trackers list of torrents.

Hope it may be useful to all of you.

Thanking you all.

You could write those instructions under our wiki's FAQ. It is open for edit to anyone registered on github.

Actually, if you want to disable DHT properly, there's a little more to it than that.
Explained by Dayman here:

To properly disable DHT, follow my guide in the post below his.

Well you don't have to do all that. It's true that you might receive requests from the DHT network but if you have disabled that in the options, then libtorrent will not respond to those requests. And after some time they will die out.

I know.
Still, if you're gonna have a Wiki tutorial about disabling DHT, this behavior should be noted.
All those connections can be really confusing.
..at least, they were to me.
