Is there an option to keep the files of each torrent in its own folder?

Post by oscarda »

Hi all,
I' ve been searching for a while and have not found an answer for this quite basic question... I wonder if I have searched in the proper places.

qBitTorrent is working like a charm for me, though there is one thing that would love to learn how to change:
All the complete files are kept in the same folder (complete_torrents) and it becomes a mess when I have several compilation torrents with multiple files in each of them: all the files get mixed up and its a nightmare to try to sort them out in the original compilations.

I know I can solve it torrent by torrent, changing manually the destination folder... though would love to know if there may be any settings that can help to tidy up the complete_torrent folder.

Any thoughts and ideas are most welcome.

Thanks in adavance!!

Use labels and set it to be appended to the path.

Thanks a lot.
It's not exactly what I was looking for, but I've just tried labels / folders, and is very handy: the mass-label-assignment feature saves lots of time.

Then it's reasonable to assume that the payloads of your running jobs were not created with a folder structure and you will have to create one as you load them.
