Hi,
My ISP supports caching and local peering of torrents. In peered/cached torrents I get speeds upto 11MB/s.
Problem is for the last few days when I start a torrent I see several local peers as usual, some are at 100% that is they have completed downloading and are now seeding while others are still downloading. Immediately I see a speed boost but it lasts only for a few seconds.
I see my download rate decreasing and the local peers keeps moving downward in the peer list and finally they are just gone and as a result download speed reverts back to my line speed which is pretty slow.
How to troubleshoot this ?

Re: Local peers getting disconnected
Does qBT's logger show that they've been banned for some reason?

Nope.
I guess this was happening because of some network problem. Its not occurring anymore. Although I have noticed that this issue keeps coming back.
I tried to use the "add a new peer" feature but problem is qBT's peer list doesn't show which port the peer is using so I am getting a bit confused.
I am also facing another issue. After creating a private torrent when I am seeding it I am getting "No incoming connection" with the yellow icon. I have opened port 6881.
After restarting qBT several times it turns green (online) without implementing any configuration changes.
If you think a new thread is necessary for this I will create one.
Thanks.

Re: Local peers getting disconnected
Do not use port 6881, it is the "well known" port used for BitTorrent so is most likely to be blocked by ISPs.I have opened port 6881.
