Search - old cached results only in compiled trunk?

This may be weird or intended behaviour, but I compiled the 3.2.x trunk against latest libtorrent 0.16.x and the search seems to always return immediately but with old results ... it feels like they are cached results. New torrents that are returned by the same search engines if queried manually in a browser, are missing in qbittorrent.

If I use the hydr0gen ppa from Launchpad (I'm on Ubuntu Trusty) which is from April 2014, then search works fine ... i.e. it returns results after a while, in a staggered fashion (you can see new results being added to the list every second or so) and new torrents are there.

I hope I made sense ... is the above expected?

When did you compile 3.2.x? What was the last commit?
I pushed some search related commits this weekend and I am wondering if you used.
If in doubt please compile with latest git master and test again.

Compiled yesterday.

I compiled the 3.1.x branch just now and I'm seeing something else but still weird: anything I search for (including very popular keywords) returns results from only btdigg.org ... nothing from other search providers (they are all selected). If I deselect bitdigg.org and search again, the search returns no results.

I then uninstalled and went back to the ppa ... same thing. This never used to happen. Hmmm.

Yes, like I said in initially, I did search using a browser and they pretty much all return plenty of results there.

Still returning no results in qB (also compiled yesterday from the 3.1.x branch and trunk).

Please make a list of exactly which work and which don't work. Enable one search engine at a time.
Also note, which search engines work from the browser.
Finally what is the output of "python --version" in a terminal?

@sledgehammer: None of them except btdigg.org return any results. Popular searches like "transformers" or anything else return nothing. Searching with the browser the same things, on kickass.to or thepiratebay.se, return plenty of results.

Are you saying that searchign in qB works fine in your case?

For me only www.torrentreactor.net and www.vertor.eu are broken.

Still only btdigg.org for me, tested from another IP (different country) as well.

I think it is fixed now. It was a bad commit and the commiter noticed and pushed a fix.
3.1.10 released btw.
