Configuring the web UI to move the selected torrent row up/down when reordered

Post by AmperAndSand »

I have qBittorrent installed in a Xubuntu computer, and am accessing it through web UI in Firefox or Chrome on Windows 7. I have arranged the torrents by their queue number in ascending order. I've noticed that when I move a selected torrent row up or down to change its queue priority, the torrent row remains in its place, while its queue number changes (breaking their arrangement in ascending order).

I would like to configure the web UI in such a way that the selected torrent rows will move depending on which order I put them, and the queue numbers will stay where they are and maintain their ascending order (similar to uTorrent and Deluge's web UI's default behavior). How do I do this?

You are NOT moving the "row up or down" the action is to change the queue order only.

Just refresh the browser window to reload the task list in the "new" order.

I *know* it's to change the queue order. That's why I'm asking if there is a way to configure it to be like uTorrent or Deluge's web UI (or the default UI of most torrent clients including qBittorrent's), where the row *moves* to indicate the queue order (as hinted by the up and down arrows in the interface), if set to be arranged by order.

That's the workaround I currently use. Not very convenient if you're frequently reordering a large number of torrents.

I'd suggest that you upgrade your bittorrent version first.
