Why qbittorrent does not need an "Also delete .torrent file" feature.
qbittorrent already does delete the only copy of the .torrent that it keeps track of, that is the one in the BT_Backup location (named with the hash_id of the torrent) when you remove the task from the client. The copies in the locations defined that are defined in Options -> Downloads are not used by libtorrent at all so it does not even 'know' they are there. It has **no reference** to those file names with relation to the task especially, if you have renamed the task in the GUI task list. Also the torrent file may not have the same file name as the task caption when loading the metadata, as the task list caption (the name column) is derived from the meta data 'name' field which may or may not be the same as the .torrent file name.
The metadata files stored in the user locations are not required by the protocol engine (libtorrent) or the client (qbittorrent) after loading so are completely superfluous which is why they are NOT tracked or updated.
This is why qbittorrent does NOT 'move' the torrent files between locations on completion. It does NOT 'know' the name of the file(s) to move, so instead it makes a copy of the .torrent from the BT_Backup location.
If you do not need two copies of the same .torrent files turn OFF one of the save locations. If you only need a record of completed tasks, turn off the "Copy .torrent files to:" and leave "Copy .torrent files for completed downloads to: then you will only have one copy and qbittorrent will delete the copy it knows about automatically.
The ex utorrent users really need to understand the difference between the two clients. uTorrent actually uses the .torrent in the user locations, which is why it HAS to have a special "delete"feature.
qbittorrent does not use them so the end user need not even save the copies at all, or you can delete at any time you want to even when the task is still running.
Why qBT has no need of an 'Also delete .torrent'
Re: Why qBT has no need of an 'Also delete .torrent'
The reason I made the feature request is because I looked at the help/FAQ/documentation and I searched the forum and did not find anything on this.
This needs to be made clear.
You have made ti clear now so that's fine, but it needs to be documented clearly and in an easy to find place.

Hopefully, this thread will be that "easy to find place"
and I will add it to the documentation on the qBt Wiki later on.
