Hello, I recently stopped using uTorrent and started using the qBittorent. I can't complain, I love the design and everything so far.
However, I would like to ask the developers (or someone, who is good at programming) to add an option the uTorrent had, that it could basically put the PC to sleep, restart or shut it down completely. I know that shutting down the PC requires only cmd and "shutdown -s", so I believe it wouldn't take much time and it would make lives of many people so much easier.
On the other hand, I guess the qBittorrent would need admin rights, so some users could have problems with it, so it could be optional in the settings whether someone wants the option to put PC to sleep or just shut it down.
The option could be in the top bar (not sure what it's called) just like in uTorrent, and/or when you rightclick a torrent, there would be an option to "Shut down after this torrent is downloaded." or "Shut down after all torrents are downloaded."
Thank you for hearing me out, I know that it's a detail for most people. That they can set it manually in cmd like "shutdown -s -t 10800" for example, but I think it would be a nice touch and great little improvement.
Well, if there is a thing like this in qBittorent and I'm blind, then sorry for this thread, I searched everywhere with no success.

[REQUEST]Turn PC off after torrent completion.
Re: [REQUEST]Turn PC off after torrent completion.
Although I am using the most recent beta of qBittorrent, I am sure that there is an option for this.
In the main window of qB, click on "Tools" on the top bar. There should be an option called "On Downloads Done"; there you can choose what qB should do after downloading all torrents.
As far as I know, there is nothing more than the option mentioned above. We have to see how the possibilities of libtorrent are (I guess), as I am not familiar with programming. Probably CiaoBaby knows more

It is there on, as mentioned already, on the tools menu. The option could be in the top bar (not sure what it's called) just like in uTorrent, and/or when you rightclick a torrent, there would be an option to "Shut down after this torrent is downloaded." or "Shut down after all torrents are downloaded."
Take note: In this instance, "On downloads done" or "When downloads complete" does not mean "when all tasks reach 100%", libtorrent sends the completed signal when the download rate of the active tasks drops to zero, this can have the unfortunate 'knock-on' effect that some tasks may require a recheck when being restarted if you close the host machine down using this feature.

Oh, thank you very much! I must be blind, thanks, really, for telling me that! Now I'm completely happy with qBittorrent.
