How to prevent QBT from starting when payload folder unavailable?

Post by snakyjake »

How do I prevent QBT from starting when my payload folder is not available?

I have my "save files location" (payload) as a mount point.
Sometimes the mounted location is not yet available.
When QBT launches, and the location isn't available, it marks all the torrents incomplete.
After I mount the location, I then have to re-check all my torrents...which takes a very long time.

What I want to do is prevent QBT from starting if the "save files location" payload location is unavailable, so it won't mark all the torrents incomplete, and won't make me do a recheck.

How?

Thanks,
Jake

Currently there is no way. simply because libtorrent which handles the disc i/o does not/cannot do any checks until the first request is made for a payload.
