Stalled?

Stalled?
I just downloaded a torrent no problems. Next I start downloading another, and it is stuck on stalled. I can look on the screen and see 9 seeds and 20 peers. Actually that has been going up and down as I wait patiently. Still it is stuck on stalled and there is no upload or download traffic. Can anyone give me some advice?

Sorry to reply to my own comment, but everything is working fine now after I upgraded to a newer version on Ubuntu.

Owch. Now the problem is slow speeds. Before I was getting 600KiB, now I'm below 100. Any ideas at all would be helpful at this point.

Lots of stuff we don't know about your conditions which may totally be to blame...
