I think it's coded to use system variables instead of "hard-coded" locations... at very least I think you'd have to modify the source and compile yourself... so good luck

Yeah, I figured it'd come down to that after fooling around with it for awhile.

I looked for obvious references to the variables but couldn't find any.

Hmm you may want to look at PortableApps.com's installer. It makes any app use the desired folders to store everything.

It's been a month since 2.9.2, are there any new developments? There are still several bugs and annoyances with this version. Basically just make the program identical to uTorrent 2.2.1 and I'll be happy.

qBittorrent v2.9.3 has been released, see the main page and then click to news to see the changes. By the way, why the main page isn't being updated anymore? I think its confusing and also sometimes hard to find the current stable release as you imagine that not everyone comes to the forums.

Thanks. Seems all fine, except what one rss showed but "open news URL" not working. Don't know why.
Also "download torrent" (from rss menu)  feature request what my login/pass will be entered at "Manage Cookies" menu, and maybe some crazy cookies i will be crazy if i make it. Also personally i unlike keep my passwords at many places, so i found this menu (down tor from rss list) not interesting at all

Also i crazy happy with "Set location" option. In utorrent i have many problems managing my collection and seeding at some time.
also rss at another recource working correctly i regular receive news from demon residence, it's nice. ;-D

I very hope what we sometime will see pure 64x version ;-D

The one in the corner also, still, says latest version 2.9.2...
