Started using qtorrentbit-nox, but need some help

Post by skyway »

For start, i'm using qbittorrent-nox on my Raspberry Pi 2. I ended up using it after using rtorrent, deluge, transmission. I have 2TB of storage space for my torrents, but transmission didn't worked well with that much stuff, and deluge managed ok. But deluge crashed often, and rtorrent downloaded files with ~200kb/s. Now i'm using qbittorrent-nox and i see speeds of 7MB/s which i love:) . Easy for deploying, simple as running a command and all is set up. Because i didn't use this before i came here for advices and help, since the irc channel isn't quite popular.
Now i need to migrate from rtorrent to qbittorrent. How can i easily add torrents, without checking each one of them? Keep in mind that i'm doing all of the work from Web Ui. Also i didn't see the setting for path on adding new torrent.
It's asking me only for .torrent file(Browse), and it passes that to the webui, no setup of path, only the one set up in the config files
Is there a way to set up path for each .torrent file? Or what should i do to make my work easier?

I use the console or ftp tool to move files around.
I use a single/common path.
I think it is required to recheck the torrent.  I also noticed that moving files around that not all the files checked at 100%.

i'm not using a single path because it's more easy for kody to scan the library and update the movies/shows. i don't neet to move things around the hdd's. i need only to setup path for the new add .torrent file :)

In the config you can set the parent path.
When you add a torrent you can choose the path.
There might be a setting in the text config file to append the label to the path.  (There's a setting in the full GUI, but not the Web UI)

My screenshots are from the WebUI on Linux, QBT v3.3.4.
Why does your say "Download local torrent", while mine is saying "Upload local torrent"?

I think it's because of version.. I'm using it on arm device ( raspberry ), and i see i only have available 3.3.1-1 version.
