[SOLVED] New install on Ubuntu 16.04 server, no peers/seeds

Post by davidmoore »

I followed the instructions here: https://www.linuxbabe.com/bittorrent/qb ... -ui-ubuntu and installed qbittorrent-nox. The Web-UI is working and I'm able to add torrents, but the trackers say not contacted yet and there aren't any peers or seeds. I used to use deluge on this server and never had issues like this. I'm not exactly sure what the issue could be. I did add torrents I have previously downloaded and it was able to "check" them and they're showing at 100%, just won't seed or download new torrents. I checked permissions for read/write, but that wouldn't explain peers/seeds showing 0 I don't believe. Has anyone else ran into this?

I believe this is the same problem I'm having as well. I just moved from Windows 10 to Ubuntu 16.04, and none of the torrents are working. It says 0 seeds and trackers not working. Here is an image so you can see what I mean. Any help is greatly appreciated! :)

I added another torrent and it did create new file folders in the default folder, but it's still not connecting to the tracker. My trackers are still saying "Not Connected Yet"

I also attempted to use another tracker with the same results.

After rebooting the server, qbittorrent has started working.
