Adding / custom peer tracker lists

Hi All;

new to Qbit and to this forum so pls forgive me if this has been covered long before..

In order to increase my dl speed and get more trackers / seeders / peers for a torrent file, (as far as I know with QB there isn't a way to request more seeders for a torrent file) - so I went looking around the net and found a few ppl posting tracker lists - which I added into the tracker list section and selected to add the new list in when a new torrent starts - issue is tho none of these trackers seem to work - all of them show the same status when DL - they either show 'updating' and never do, or alternatively (and mostly) show - not working - see ss attatched

is there something I'm doing wrong here or an option I need to select for this to work properly, or are these just dud lists? (they say active in 2016 so not sure how quickly they become useless or dated?)

any help is appreciated;

Hi Sam,

Here you have the best public trackers list (updated daily by our colleague ngosang): https://github.com/ngosang/trackerslist ... s_best.txt
Select few trackers from it (do not add more than 10-15 trackers for each torrent) and delete the old ones that aren't working.

Nope - unfortunately same result - you can see the screen grab attached;

I took the first 10 from the list and gave them a whirl with a new torrent.. no joy.

(2 mins later)

whups.. my mistake... seems at first they all show not working - but eventually must update as only 4 out of the list added now show not working - the others are working.

Glad you solved this, Sam !

The real results will appear after (at least) 30-60 mins. Or after a manual force reannounce to all trackers.
