Re: [Unofficial] qBittorrent 2.9.5 - msvc2010 build (based on libtorrent v0.15.10)
This looks promising

I can confirm that this one works great without any problems for few days now. The first build had the I/O error problems again which was based on 15.9 but now with 15.10 all seems solved
. Thanks Christophe and fszymanski

This build works perfectly. Zero issues whatsoever.

Yes works fine. Such a minor libtorrent version difference but such a big usability difference... Wasn't downloading anything since I installed previous build and now when i tried and saw that error I though my harddrive died or something ^__^

Hi,
I think is a problem with tracker tab and with status update.

This announce is down, but in status appear working, in firs tab at general appear "Reannounce in: < 1m"
so somewhere is a problem, in utorrent i get notification , not working - and a custom message.
Annouce used by this tracker is XBTT as backend - http://xbtt.sourceforge.net/tracker/

Just installed this on a new computer. Anybody else not seeing the file associations stick with this build if you do a clean install with it? Not even the options page in 2.9.5 would make qB the default for torrent files. Had to install 2.9.3 to make the file association get applied to Windows and then installed 2.9.5 over that for it to work.
Other than that, working great.

You should just have to run as administrator, (once!) to get these settings to stick. Set the default for torrent files and magnet if you want that too, then go back to running it as usual.

Shouldn't this thread be a sticky?
Re: [Unofficial] qBittorrent 2.9.5 - msvc2010 build (based on libtorrent v0.15.10)
It should probably be sticky and "official" too.
Re: [Unofficial] qBittorrent 2.9.5 - msvc2010 build (based on libtorrent v0.15.10)
OK, topic sticked
"Official" builds are made by mkdib, because he is the Official Windows packager/maintainer. In some exceptional cases christophe.dumez set other builds as "official".

Wait...if its actually unofficial, then isn't this actually not supposed to be stickied? Is fszymanski involved with the project?

This build works fine, so let be sticked. fszymanski is the topic author and he called it "unofficial", so maybe he is not involved with the project.
Re: [Unofficial] qBittorrent 2.9.5 - msvc2010 build (based on libtorrent v0.15.10)
As far as I know mkdib is not involved in the project either other than occasionally building a windows build...

He is the official Windows packager, but maybe in the last months he lost his interest in the project or have no time to make new builds. In the meantime some guys - sledgehammer_999, nyyu and fszymanski compiled Windows builds, but some of them suffered of the well known I/O errors. The last build of fszymanski is good.
