[SOLVED] Cant see torrents in web ui

Post by Atamas »

Hi :)

I need some help.

I updated now my qbittorrent server in ubuntu 16.04 server.

After update, my categories and torrent lists have been deleted. In options everything stayed like before versions.
If i upload a torrent file to download, i see the new option. When i set everything and upload the file, i cant see in list, the web ui shows everywhere 0 torrents. But the server downloads the file where i set it (the modified date changes if i refresh in sftp).

After service restart, system reboot the problem still exist.

Can somebody help me? I have to reinstall or delete my configuration? Or it is update bug that will be fixed?

Thank you and sorry for my english. I hope you can understand me. :)

Sounds like you have a permission issue?
Try to "chown" your user folder.

You can do that with: sudo chown -R username:username /home/username

Report back. :)

Hi Peter!

The problem weren't the chown & permissions.

The problem "solved". I opened the webui in my phone after hours of searching, config editing. And there works everything fine. But on my PC isnt.
So I deleted all cookies, logins, restart the browser and it works now.

I dont understand it, but works now. Interesting. After hours, this solved... :D

Well, glad you managed to fix it and thank you for posting the solution.
This happens to me with phone carrier websites every single time.

I log in. It works. Close browser, do my job.
Come back next time, it redirects me to some weird page, or cannot login, or it's broken entirely.
Not sure if it's the browser or their sites, but it is an absolute mess.
