Right Click on iPhone

Post by JMLT1985 »

Hi,
I recently started using qBittorrent (Ubuntu 14.04 TT) for my server and noticed problem that when I connect to WEB UI on my iPhone I cannot get right click on my torrents, it is very annoying as sometimes I get new torrents stalling after they get downloaded and only way to get them starting is to Force Resume, which I cannot perform without right click. I've tried Safari, Chrome and Skyfire browsers on my iPhone 7 even requested desktop site but nothing (chrome doesnt even open desktop site). everything works fine on desktop pc only problems with iPhone. I've tried all kind solutions found online, double tap, long tap, quick tap nothing helped.
Any suggestions?
Can the toolbar be customized to add more buttons ? Like force resume or setting label or super seeding options?

Thanks

I don't think the official webui is meant for mobile browsers.
But there are alternative webuis that work on mobile browsers

I think 2 of those are pinned at the top of this forum section:
1. index.php/topic,2655.0.html
2. index.php/topic,2676.0.html

PS: Hmm, you're talking about iOS.... See if Transdroid supports it.

Thanks for reply
I did see these posts as I've search forum for any topics of post before creating new.
I know it's not designed but it could be easily sorted by adding buttons in toolbar as it's only few of them at the moment. This way right click button could be avoided at all.

Hmm. Maybe some fugly Javascript hackery could be added that IF it's an iPhone (but it uses regular Safari useragent, as far as I know), tap should always display a menu.

OR we could simply include a Force Touch JS library and then you guys could use that? How about that idea?
Example: https://pressurejs.com/

(I will test the library in a VM.)

Update: Included the library, tried to add it for each table element (torrent), but I really suck at Javascript. Also Hyper-V+Linux is PURE PAIN. I will continue the work later.
