Torrents reset

Post by pantomime »

Hey all, i'm not super savvy about torrenting and the application keeps resetting all of my torrents. Every few weeks the program will crash and when I start it back up all of my finished and seeding torrents come up as paused and at 0% downloaded. Any help fixing this would be appreciated.

Edit: Having played around with it for a bit it appears I can set location and then force recheck. Once I do this it's possible to restart and things will once again be seeding. This doesn't solve the problem of why it's happening so often though, so any insight into that would still be appreciated.

Did you ever see a crash message with details in it?
If so, have you managed to save it and post it to qBitTorrent's issues Github?

only been using Qbit about a month, but, As long as you haven't changed the INCOMPLETE directory, highlight and right click the torrents and do a FORCE RECHECK, thats only thing I know of, BUT the incomplete folder has to be the same as listed in options.
Once the recheck is done they will resume, unless there are no seeds, aka 0(2).
