invalid port problem

Post by kimmi »

Hello,

in the last few days I set up a Rock 64 as a torrent box. I installed Ubuntu 16.04 (Xenial) and Qbittorrent 4.1.1. Everything works fine. Except for a certain chinese private tracker that gives me a problem. It says that trackers is not working for "invalid port".

The port is 65000, I tried the upnp and it doesn't solved the problem. I tried to open the port manually from the router but no luck. I also tried the ufw settings to open the ports but no luck either. Can anyone help me?

I've searched a bit on google and didn't find the solution.

PS: Deluge give me the same problem (should be an OS problem then) and on my PC with windows it works fine. Any help?

Thanks in advance

Sooo the tracker tab, down at the bottom says "invalid port"?
That's the tracker replying to you... Well, first I would simply move my port, maybe even try the default bittorrent port which is 6881.
I mean it cannot hurt...
