I've been keeping an old torrent alive but something got screwed up. I have the original file and I have the original torrent file with the original trackers.
I hit every button I could find and now it says "[F] Downloading" and the box is empty as if I had 0% when in fact I have 100%.
How do I make it work again?

Try: force recheck.
When finished then resume.

Where is force recheck?
I removed the torrent file without "also deleting the files on the hard disk". then I reuploaded it. I hoped it would fix itself but no.
Do I leave automatic torrent management checked?

Re: Noob question repair torrent
I just clicked stuff I already clicked before and somehow it fixed itself. Yay! Thx again for the help.
Re: Noob question repair torrent
uh for anyone else who may wind up in this boat the "force recheck" option was NOt in the right click tab but I did force resume and toggled automatic torrent management and also a recheck in various combinations. after a few minutes it started to repair itself on its own. now that the torrent is seedding it DOES give me the force recheck option. FWIW. GL
