1Gbps (DL+UL) Private Tracker Recommended Settings?

1. Connection: 1 Gigabit (DL+UL)
2. For Private Tracker Upload ( lots of seeds, extremely few peers)

How could I maximize the Speed, Performance and Security?

Any recommended settings? Thanks.
Already adapted PrimoCache. HDD in RAID.

Can you use primocache on less than 4gb?

The problem with 1gbit, is the amount of I/O's from multifiled torrents. It get's so high it can kill a fast ssd. I'm using an evo 850 as cache, and sometimes it can't keep up.
But primocache might help with that. But it looks to me like primocache is read cache, and what you need is writespeed. After the torrent is done and has transferred to raid, read isn't a problem in my experience. I have 3x1tb in raid0.
Also, you need a router that can handle full duplex 1gbit on the wan port, you have that i assume.

Settings i use.
downloads/Keep incomplete torrents in: whatever cache you have.
connections/specify a port.
-upnp: disabled
-global connection: 800
-max connections per torrent: 70
-max uploadslots per torrent: 120
Speed.
-use limit for utp=on
-use limit for overhead=on
Bittorrent
-dht, pex & local = off
-require encryption.

Edit: Could you set defer-write to like 5 secs and max 15 secs, and then have primo use the memory as a pass-through cache, so if the drive can't keep up. The data is stored in memory. And while downloading to cache, it's writing to drive any data that's older 5 secs and continuing to store up to the latest 15 secs before download speed is affected,  I suppose that's how the qbit cache is working?. Or does it need to flush everything every 15secs?

Thanks fusk.

Primocache has read and write setting. (https://www.romexsoftware.com/images/Pr ... ache-2.png)
I'm doing a seeder so read is more important.
Downloads will be handled by SSD.

I have set
- 2GB(60 secs) RAM defer-write in qBittorrent for Download
- (changed now based upon your suggestion) set like 15 secs in Read in Primocache.

When you set defer-write to 60 secs, does that mean it will flush everything every 60 secs, or that it's writing to disk while download is entering ram, but it will at max contain 60 secs worth of data?
'm thinking, that if you're downloading at 70mb/s, in 60 secs that's going to be 4.2gb. That's why i suggested 15 secs, at 70mb/s it's still 1050mb.
I did read their site, but it's unclear how defer-write actually works.

Defer-write - every 60 secs it will flush memory to hdd
and there are two orginal it could flush from:
1. if the "Enable OS cache" option, this should be using the HDD cache set up in Windows? I guess...
2. if disabled, it should use the memory directly

Anyway, I changed the whole setting now. I disabled all the cache setting in qBittorent.
and let everything to be handled by PrimoCache.
In PrimoCache, I simply set 2000Mb + 20Sec Defer write (will change it when the Seeding situation change)(as it is not full load now).
The advantage is it makes the overall memory usage lower (and i guess more efficient? as PrimoCache is a Professional product...?).

Oh ok, it flushes everything. Does that mean the download stops when it's flushing memory?
