BUT...............................am i stupid or does qbittorrent NOT INCLUDE the queuing function, nor the priority for each torrent, nor set max active download/updloads........
[/quote]
Welcome and don't panic, please.
1. Tools - Options - Torrent Queueing
2. Click on some torrent to select it - Content button in the bottom - set priority for each item in the torrent by clicking against it in the Priority column.
3. See point 1.

@ironcross:
sweet LORD i have been in the menu of your excellent qtb since this morning and i did not see it.............as it is greyed by default !!!!
Man you just made my wife happy...and me !!!! thanks for this...man i feel so stupid !
1- i now see the "arrows too" they appeared after enabling the queueing ! But is there an option like utorrent to change the order of your torrents (it was possible with their arrow...unlike yours that is focused on priority only)
2- is there a way to have proprieties of torrents by right clicking on the mouse on each torrent ? in utorrent that was a very easy way to change eacht torrent's setting (upload/dl speeds...); i did see that i can have those options with qbt...but on 3 seperate lines (not all in one window...so it takes more time...)
3- is there a way to disable the confirmation window each time i delete a torrent ?
4- does the STOP button exist ? would be good to have it for the queueing thing
Don't blame me man....i have been using utorrent for soooooooooooo long i FEEL like it's the first time i touch a computer
BTW...today i also gave TIXATI a try.....and damn i just like qbt soo much better because:
1- various languages support
2- looks nicer & easier to use
3- that are many other reasons....

Re: qBittorrent 2.9.7 installer - Built with MSVC 2008 and uTP support
#1, You can sort the list of torrents in transfer page by clicking any column.
#2, Right-click menu yes, unless you were talking global settings.
#3, Advanced settings > Confirm torrent deletion > uncheck.
And #4, my understanding at least, pause does same as stop.

Re: qBittorrent 2.9.7 installer - Built with MSVC 2008 and uTP support
@loki:
#1 thanks i did not notice that the arrows actually worked to change the order of the torrents too....simply because their functionning method is WEIRD !!! : as said in another post (don't remember when...): why is it when i press the UP arrow....the torrent goes down in priority (and thus order!!)
that is NOT LOGICAL right
or again, is it that utorrent was illogical for us
can this issue be solved? is there an update soon regarding this "bug"?
#2 my bad: i was talking about global settings in one window...instead of having all the options seperatly: hopefully in the next update
#3 thanks...again i did not see it (utorrent habits !)
#4 yes it's the same....guess i will have to forget that button now
Ahh yes another question
The Web UI in utorrent was a breeze to use as it only required to log in to remote.utorrent.com and VOILA !
Again....i saw similar options in qbt and read a few posts...but it seems COMPLICATED....is it not ?
Waiting for your feedback if you judge necessary !

Re: qBittorrent 2.9.7 installer - Built with MSVC 2008 and uTP support
Do we really need this many stickies for a version that isn't even being tested anymore?
Re: qBittorrent 2.9.7 installer - Built with MSVC 2008 and uTP support
Its only 3 stickies build by different builders and all 3 of them is working correctly. Differences could be the lib versions used or different compilers. Offcourse there will be bugs or other little things (I also want that it is bug free without problems but that's with almost every software out there). Who's going to test it? Well that will be us the users at the end, so you Calidude, including me and others. Like the previous builds were tested somewhere else? Its the same method. Im not sure what is irritating you? If you only want 1 then go to main page and download there the current official one. Here at the forum you have choice, maybe someone else's build might work better for you.

@sledgehammer_999, thanks a lot.
It works fine, but... if it's minimized or closed to the notification area, the main window can't be raised again from the icon in the notification area. Only taskbar icon works for maximize the main window.
Win 7 Pro SP1 32-bit.

Damn, my bad, I changed this part of the code and could only test on Mac and Linux...
We really need proper Windows testing (via forums for e.g.) before uploading to Sourceforge.

Well, I hope that you've jumped on this one quickly, Chris, cuz sledge has only got a few days to spend for us right now..

Confirming. Close to tray and restore work as expected though.

Oh, yes... close to tray and maximize really works! Only minimize to tray and then maximize is the problem.

@newborn I have build the new version on sf
@all there is a new build available on sf.net that fixes the "minimize to tray problem". Use the old link.
Please report if this build is ok or has bugs. Thank you

A big thanks to Chris and sledge for the fast fix-release!
A little note on the recent GUI changes though..
Some parts don't look so good when using the classic Windows theme in WinXP anymore:
