Question: Why doesn't a torrent download

even though there are plenty of seeders? I have used the Search feature and see several titles of the same movie I want to download. I click the Download button and nothing happens. Anyone know why? Maybe qBittorrent cannot find the "torrent file"?

Hmm. Could you post a screenshot after clicking the "Trackers" tab at the bottom? That would help.

The problem is there are no trackers. I clicked the file I wanted and then pressed the Download button. No box ever pops up asking where I want to download to. It's as if I never pressed the Download button. If I continue to select a different file, eventually the Download button works and I'm prompted to enter where I want the download.

Does this just mean that tracker info is not available for the selected file? I would have expected a pop-up stating "no trackers found" or something.  Thanks.

Hmm, the search engine downloads the torrent file, but it can't do a check on that.
You may want to use a private torrent site like BTN to download your favourite series.
(I have 3 invites there, but I can't send them, since my class isn't allowed to do so.)

It looks like a very popular bittorrent site called extratorrent is having trouble providing any files I request. When I select a different provider, that seems to work normally.

I see. That's good to hear. Remember (everyone): If you download from a public tracker, you take an additional risk. If your country happen to punish p2p users, use btguard.com or other providers who care about your privacy.
