Getting Started with qBittorrent

Apologies for this very basic question, but I just joined and am looking how to use QBittorrent to download a particular book.

Where and how do I make such a request within QBittorrent?
Is there a Getting Started manual? If so, where?

There doesn't seem to be a getting started guide for qBitTorrent.

You might be better off reading the getting started from another BitTorrent client...and sadly I don't know one off the top of my head.
