How to disable checking of incomplete torrents after every startup?

I am downloading some very large torrents with low seeds. They will probably take like a month to finish. 
After every startup, these currently downloading torrents take a long time in checking. Is it possible to disable this?

Well it shouldn't recheck the torrent at all, that's just not normal. Does it happen to other torrents too?

this has been happening for awhile.  at least since the newest build.  A few of us talked about it here.  No clear solution yet, but i personally havent had an iota of time to look into it further.
