download not starting

I cant find this problem on here anywhere so here goes, I can't start downloads. I can search and get results but when I click the download button or double click, nothing happens.  Nothing on right click either

That's weird. If you try to run qBittorrent from Terminal, do you get anything when you click on them? Like any new line or output in the Terminal?

Soory taken so long to reply but oviously did something wrong when I signed up because I don't get notified of replys. Anywway, when I run qbittorrent from command line, the ap runs normally with gui and search results show but again nothing happens when I click them. What you think is going on?

Update: think it must have been peer related as I can now download. (Even though extremely slow)
