Reset or refresh torrents

Hi,

I AM surprised I cannot find an answer to this query in this forum currently, that (I would have thought) someone had struck b4.

After downloading and starting a torrent, it seems to me that qbittorrent gives you a limited time to complete the torrent...maybe it just my imagination.

However i have an increasing number of torrent or various degree of completion (some havent even started), and was wondering if it was possible to refresh or reset the torrents, at any given time, so that they connect and restart.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Same. I've also had this recurring issue but as of yesterday it completely refuses to even attempt to connect to anything. Torrents I KNOW have thousands of seeds sit at zero and the plug at the bottom says "offline". I can add magnet links no problem but it does nothing. It's literally like the app is on strike.

Well torrents can only "idle" if they are queued and you reached your limit.
Settings -> BitTorrent -> Queue (in the middle)

If it's not enabled, it might be just waiting to re-connect to trackers.
In that case, select an affected torrent, click Trackers on bottom and you should see the remaining time until it'll try to contact said trackers again.

Understood exactly what you advised and where...it all checked out, however there seems to be:

- no mention of reconnection time &
- The queueing part in 'options' is greyed out/not active, as attached (for both).

Your advise then would be???
