qBittorrent doesn't upload torrents

Post by annadewitt123 »

Hello. I joined 2 private tracker torrent sites and I have to seed torrents to not kick out from these sites. But qBittorrent has seeding problem. After download finishes, upload doesn't start at all. I have done a lot of research for this problem for 2 days, nobody seems to know solution. Could you please help me about this problem? Here you can see the screenshot of program:

Okay, so, first and foremost... make sure you have a working port forward. It's best if you assign a static DHCP address to your PC (or set one in Windows by hand). And then comes the hard part.

Most private trackers are over-seeded. There are people downloading, but most are trying to upload, like you. They want to achieve a good buffer and ratio. My best tip is to buffer on those places with a seedbox. Get yourself a cheap one and you can use RSS to "race". Do this for even just a month and you don't have to worry about ratio ever again.

You could also grab terabytes worth of torrents and seed them 24-7, but that's just a waste of electricity, bandwidth and time honestly. Because others would already seed them, and you are just downloading it to seed, etc etc.

Ps.: Mind you, I am not telling you not to seed. Seeding is what keeps these sites and the p2p community alive. But, most big sites you have to build a buffer somehow.
