Help with quick magnet link add for QBittorrent online client / Chrome

Hello folks.

I’m really struggling with the Chrome plug-in for BitTorrent;

I have added the Chrome ext, no probs But when I right click the magnet link, and select “add torrent” (using QBittorrent), it opens the QBittorrent Client, however wants a “server”, “host name” etc.

So instead I resort to copying the magnet, and then pasting it into the PC’s Qbittorent (Windows v4.5.0).

I have tried searching everywhere for help. Any ideas please?

You don't need an extension to use magnet links? Just click the link, and your browser will call the torrent client installed on your PC.

That extension you found is unofficial and probably relies on the WebUI feature of qBittorrent. If you look at the reviews, you'll find a bunch of people having issues with it.
If you want to add magnet links via WebUI, you can do so without an extension as well, just go to localhost or whatever IP your client is on.
