Today qBittorrent consistently displays "Not Responding" on launch. When it loads after 30 seconds or so, there are no search engines loaded. Typically I set network interface to my VPN, but even with it set to "Any" the result is the same. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I made this account just now today Jan-13-2023 just to help you because i had this same issues, not sure if this will help but lets hope it does.
In the advanced settings where you changed the "network interface" to ANY, leave that on ANY as you have it, then right under that where it says "optional ip address to bind to" Make sure you have that set on your VPN IP address, keep in mind that anytime you change your vpn's servers and/or any time the vpn ip address changes you may need to change this ip everytime. I had to change the ip address in that setting everytime my vpn changeds its ip, but about 2 months ago my VPN did an update and now the ip in that setting stays the same no matter how many times my vpn ip changes which is great, now i no longer have to remember to change it everytime. I mention it because depending on your vpn provider and the versions of qBitorrent you may or may not have to change that ip everytime you vpn changes ip like i had to, hopefully you wont.
Oh i nearly forgot, if you do have to change your ip address each time your vpn changes you will need to pause all torrents and exit completely out of qBittorrent and restart it, or at least i had to anyway and then it takes just a few seconds, maybe 10 to 20 seconds and should start normally.

The problem I described has happened before randomly and rarely. It is typically resolved by closing qB, terminating the qB process, if still running, and restarting qB. This was not working for me this morning, though.

Yes, my case was just like you say, i would just close qB and restart it and it would work, then one day it wouldn't until i changed the IP in "optional ip address to bind to". Dont know about your vpn provider but with mine they update every 2 to 3 weeks and once in a while it effects certain apps and i have to spend time to figure out how to fix it, not just with qB but with my email app, and a couple other apps. I do end up getting it sorted but its a pain to deal with sometimes and i get worried everytime my vpn does an update as to what i have to fix now.
