How to scan downloaded files by Windows Defender?

How can I scan the downloaded files in Windows 10 Defender?

It scans every folder, every download automatically.
But you can always right-click the folder and "Scan with Microsoft Defender..."

But there is an option in settings that can run an external program like scanning...

It's just an example. Most people use this feature to auto-extract their downloaded files.
(Some sites have the games and whatnot in split rar files and whatnot, and this way they can auto-extract it or do whatever they want.)

But you don't have to scan by hand anymore with Defender.
