Ive been using linux for my server with a cli and scripting version of transmission daemon. Connecting to it with transgui from a remote windows machine on the network to drop and seed my torrents on the server.
Ive since moved away from linux as my version has apparently come to end of life. Ive moved to windows server 2019 now. Network and sharing is completely setup and functional. I cant find the transmission daemon for windows and Im not into compiling.
I have qbittorrent installed and configured on the server. Is qbittorrent the ACTUAL daemon that I can remotely connect to with transgui from my remote machine or is there another daemon that should be running in the background?
Another question… if it is how can I set qbittorrent to run as a startup service in server 2019. Ive been doing this a long time and because Ive transitioned back to windows server I feel like a total newbie
