Torrent Files are not downloading and I'm not sure if it's Qbittorrent thats the problem or the torrent?
So when I get a torrent and add it to Qbittorrent it just doesn't download even if I select "Force Download" nothing happens for any torrent I get from anywhere to attempt to download them so I'm thinking it's maybe Qbittorrent that's the problem but I'm unsure?

No and I'm using NordVPN too but I don't know if that matters.

Hey mate , i have had a play around and have had no success , tried different sites reinstalled both Nord and Qbittorrent but still no luck , i have a suspicion its Nord that's giving me the grief as i do remember it had a small update a few days ago.
Let me know if you find a fix

I had posted this question on the forum but with a search it was resolved.
I solved it by doing this:
Close qbittorrent
Windows+R
Type %Appdata%
Look for the qBittorrent folder, rename it or copy it to another location.
Start qBittorrent, it will start as if it were the first time, you won't lose anything. Everything returned to normal.

If torrents added to Qbittorrent aren't downloading, even with 'Force Download' selected, it could indicate issues with Qbittorrent settings or network configurations. Checking these settings or trying a different torrent client might help resolve the issue.

So unfortunately changing the name of my folder for Qbittorrent temporarily fixed it and now it's not working again and I'm unsure why or how to fix it so I thought I'd post asking again on the Qbittorrent Forums?
Re: Torrent Files are not downloading and I'm not sure if it's Qbittorrent thats the problem or the torrent?
This started in the last two days. qBittorrent does not run in the background. The usual behavior was that if I start downloading a torrent, an empty magnet page opens and qBittorrent starts as a client and in the background. Now neither starts. If I start the client, it starts but not the background process and nothing can be downloaded. Also if the client is running and I start a paused torrent it downloads, so qBittorrent is active. I changed options to open on startup but no background process starts.
I will try the renaming trick.

I renamed the folder and restarted. Everything was saved but still no download -- no background process. I also reinstalled qBittorrent over the current one and same behavior.
Re: Torrent Files are not downloading the copied magneand I'm not sure if it's Qbittorrent thats the problem or the torr
Windows 11.
I figured out a work-around. In P B I select "Get This Torrent" and a tab opens with a magnet link URL. I select it and copy to the clipboard. Then in qBittorrent I select the "Add Torrent Link" icon. It opens with the copied link already added. I then select "Download" and qBittorrent opens as before with "Save At" at the top left. Selecting "OK" starts the download.
What changed is that before the magnet link tab and "Save At" page opened as soon as I selected "Get This Torrent". Now only the magnet link tab opens.
Still no background process, even while downloading.
I did not make any registry changes.
