plz, and add "Redo changes"
by mistake i selected all the items in my qBittorrent instead of a part of them and choose a new category for them all, and i lost all the categories i was organizing
also make a button in File named: "Restart qBittorrent" to refresh it, instead of Exit and then waiting for it to exit and then run it again manually.
Add "Undo changes in tags/categories" to "edit" menu.

If you have a huge catalog, I'd 100% recommend doing a manual backup of your profile folders before messing around.

Re: Add "Undo changes in tags/categories" to "edit" menu.
thx
for some reason changing the category isn't changing the folder of the files in it for some bug
so i'm fine with the sorted directories in File Explorer as they're still the same
i even had to choose: "Set location" in right clicking with them items selected, and choosing the folder by force
the categories aren't sorted automatically to the folders i chose when i made them
what is the backup you are talking about?
is it for the files or for the items in qBittorrent itself?

"what is the backup you are talking about?"
for qBittorrent.
- %LOCALAPPDATA%\qbittorrent
- %APPDATA%\qbittorrent
for qBittorrent.

Anything is possible. Question is, is it worth it?
Since changing categories involves moving folders and files (depends on settings), it would be a very, very complicated feature to implement and keep it working throughout the versions coming. But who would use it, besides you? That is the big question.
This is all just theoretical, I am not someone who makes decisions about the project, just sharing my 2 cents about this suggestion.

Thx,
You are right
Maybe when one makes a change to the category of torrents already in a category, to warn him with a confirmation that he's changing a category and for how many files, since this probably was by mistake.
