Tried to run bt2qbt with this parameters:
D:\Appz\qBittorrent\bt2qbt_v1.22_amd64.exe -s D:\Appz\uTorrent -d D:\Appz\qBittorrent\
*.fastresume and *.torrent files appeared in D:\Appz\qBittorrent\ and that's all. Nothing added to qbt automatically.
What directory uses qbt?

I think you run non-portable version or use wrong path now.arctic303 wrote: Mon Nov 04, 2024 12:49 pm Tried to run bt2qbt with this parameters:

So, at first use official documentation for run portable qbittorrent instance https://github.com/qbittorrent/qBittorr ... table-mode.
Then run portable qbittorrent, add some torrent for check, you will see added fastresume and torrent file with hash as name in BT_BACKUP directory. After that you can remove this torrent (or not). Close qbittorrent client.
Next you run bt2qbt with -s path_to_resume.dat -d path_to_BT_BACKUP directory. After successfully transfer run qbittorrent, you should see all your migrated torrents.
Re: [TOOL] Windows tool for migration from Bittorrent/uTorrent/Deluge to qBittorrent

What is interesting - nowhere in pc no files *.fastresume
%appdata% and %localappdata% have no folders "qbittorent" or "profile"
This time was my first install of qbt and I made it portable right away
Maybe the problem is here?

Re: [TOOL] Windows tool for migration from Bittorrent/uTorrent/Deluge to qBittorrent
I doubt in it, this options only about save copies of original torrent files.
Originally with non-portable version torrents and fastresume saves in %LOCALAPPDATA%/qBittorrent/BT_BACKUP
Try to search *.fastresume on your filesystems
Re: [TOOL] Windows tool for migration from Bittorrent/uTorrent/Deluge to qBittorrent
None *.fastresume in the whole system!rumanzo wrote: Tue Nov 05, 2024 2:25 pm I doubt in it, this options only about save copies of original torrent files.

So the problem is on my side or qbt 5.0 doesn't create this type of file at all.
Thank you for trying to help me anyway!

What settings you have in advanced - resume data storage type? Fastresume or sqlite?arctic303 wrote: Thu Nov 07, 2024 5:45 amNone *.fastresume in the whole system!rumanzo wrote: Tue Nov 05, 2024 2:25 pm I doubt in it, this options only about save copies of original torrent files.

You should set fastresume option, and you will see fastresume files and bt2qbt should work
Re: [TOOL] Windows tool for migration from Bittorrent/uTorrent/Deluge to qBittorrent
The job is done, I've successfully migrated.rumanzo wrote: Fri Nov 08, 2024 8:32 am
