Greetings:
I'm using qBittorrent v4.4.1 on Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS. For the past few weeks, I haven't been able to download anything; everything shows an I/O error. I've searched for solutions online (including in this forum) and only see recommendations to check the permissions of the destination folder, which I have already done. I am the owner and have write permissions, so I'm not sure what the problem could be.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. And I apologize if I'm repeating a topic; I've really searched before and haven't seen it.

Re: I/O error and stopped
Alright, I have something. If I run qBittorrent as root, everything works as usual and I can download to the usual folder, which is "Downloads." But if I run it as my user —let's say "user"— then it gives an I/O error. So, it seems to be a permissions issue with "user" on the "Downloads" folder. However, that folder belongs to "user" with create and delete access, so it should work.
I’m guessing qBittorrent is using a specific user to write, not "user," and that user doesn’t have permissions. I checked in Preferences but couldn’t find anything, and my knowledge doesn’t go much further. Any ideas?

Shit, I found it. I'm an idiot. Move along, nothing to see here.
