Can no longer connect to qBittorent

It now permanently says offline no matter what settings I change. I have tried what feels like everything. What can I do to fix it?

I have PIA installed, I am on a private network and I have the app allowed in firewall. IS there more info I need?

It happens to me too, but I've been reading some posts on the internet from users who managed to get around this situation. It's annoying, because you have to do it all over again.
But it may not work for you, it depends on your system.
If the first time you try to run the application it doesn't connect, go to its installation folder,
c > program files > qBittorrent, rename the application.exe and the file.pdb with the same name,
exit the installation folder and rename it with the same name, "it can be any name".
Close everything, restart the computer and run the renamed application as administrator.
Most of the time it works for me.
When this doesn't happen, I delete the installation folder, "don't use the uninstaller", reinstall the application and rename it again. Whenever you rename, you have to restart and run it through the application.
Delete the shortcuts created if you left them marked during installation.
