Downloading unchecked item behaviour

When i first installed the program it was working correctly, Now it doing this weird thing were its downloading all files even if i unchecked them.
How can i fix this?
i have: qBittorrent v5.0.0 (64-bit) On Win11

Update to the latest version and see if this behavior is fixed. 5.0.0 brought a lot of changes and had some quirks.
