Can't install 5.0.4_x64 update - ending task closes Setup

I haven't been able to install the update. I make sure qBitt is closed via task manager (sometimes after I close it regularly it's still running, don't love that). I open the Setup (qBitt now shows up in Task Manager), click all ahead on all the windows. When I get to "Choose File Location" and click "Install" a window pops up saying "qBittorent is running. Please close the application before installing."
I've tried expanding qBitt in Task Manager - two show up, one regular file & 1 the Setup file - and closing the regular one, but it still says qBitt is running. Closing the Setup ofc closes the Setup.
Closing the whole main line all together to start with closes the installation.
I'm going in circles here! Any advice?

Welp I just restarted my computer & tried running the Setup before opening anything else (after VPN and for some reason that did it. Will leave this up in case someone else has the same issue.

I tried your 'fix' because I was having the same problem, and after restarting and turning on my VPN before doing anything else - it worked! Thanks much.
