How would one go about unblocking their own loopback address?

Post by Buzz-Buzz »

In my infinite wisdom I apparently blocked my loopback address 127.0.0.1.  :o

"29/11/2012 19:16:33 - 127.0.0.1 was blocked due to your IP filter"

(Dope slap is heard in background)

How would one go about unblocking this?

(Second dope slap is heard for good measure)

Thanks!

Are these cleared when closing program? If not, I'm not sure how/where specifically it's stored (in a config file somewhere?).
Windows stores config files in /AppData/Local/qBittorrent and /AppData/Roaming/qBittorrent, may vary different Windows versions.

On a related note, I don't use the IP filter feature in qB, yet still get messages from time to time.
28/11/2012 21:13:50 - (x.x.x.x) was blocked due to your IP filter
And multiple entries for same addresses. As far as I can tell these are real "people" IP addresses, which is why I removed the numbers.

Thanks for the tip!

With Notepad++, I was able to get to ...\Application Data\qBittorrent\qBittorrent.ini.
Under the section: [Preferences] IPFilter\BannedIPs=, I was able to pull out the (non offending) IP address...

We'll see if it disappears on the next round.

Thanks again!
