Hi,
When I set the download and temp folder to D:/Downloads I get an I/O error 'invalid parameter'
The drive is a 2TB internal hard drive and I use Windows 8. qBittorrent version is 3.0.6
Is there anything I can do about it?

I/O Error Invalid Parameter
Re: I/O Error Invalid Parameter
Hi and welcome,
Things you could try are:
1. Recheck file and start downloading again. Sometimes you get bad blocks or faulty downloads which can cause I/O errors.
2. Filename too long. If so try to save your file for example to C:\
3. Downloading same file with different client in the same folder? If so this can cause a conflict.
4. Im personally not using the temp folder option. You could uncheck this or put the temp folder somewhere else and not together with your downloads folder.
5. Clean install? If not see if these folders still exist after uninstalling: C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Local\qBittorrent and C:\Users\Niyazi\AppData\Roaming\qBittorrent.
Lets see if these points going to help you first

Re: I/O Error Invalid Parameter
I don't think it is the length of the path name.
I re-installed qBittorrent, put it on D:/ and just used the default download directory. Now it works.
