Backing up to resume after reinstalling windows?

Hey all.
I've had some driver issues (ASUS fucking broke everything), and am having to reinstall windows from scratch.

I have a large number of torrents, and i've had to manually start them and locate the files so they don't redownload everything a number of times - I was wondering if there is a better way?
Some way to back up the file the configuration is stored in, or something?
