After I've downloaded a file in a torrent, if I uncheck it in qbittorrent under the 'content' tab, it will 'disappear' when I open up the folder in Windows Explorer. The folder's size will be the same, implying that the file is still there just 'invisible'. If I check the box again in the qbittorrent content tab of that torrent, it will do a recheck of that file and it will all be there (~99%), then the file will reappear in the folder.
The is mainly an issue when a torrent file will 'update' following new releases.
Unchecking Downloaded File 'Disappears'
Re: Unchecking Downloaded File 'Disappears'
Unchecking of some parts you don't want IMHO is better to do before download.
The folder size still the same maybe because of the pre-allocated space?

Re: Unchecking Downloaded File 'Disappears'
Keep getting an I/O error and have to recheck the torrent whenever I seed the same torrent on 2 different trackers. "Tracker A" won't recognize one of the files in the torrent as completed, so I uncheck it. The one I've already downloade and am seeding on "Tracker B", will get the I/O error because now the file that I unchecked on "Tracker A" will disappear. I have to force recheck on "Tracker B" (the I/O error), and uncheck the same file I unchecked on "Tracker A" for it to work properly or it will just "redownload" the unchecked "invisible" file.

Check for a hidden folder on the save path named ".unwanted". All files that are marked as "do not download" are moved in there and deleted upon torrent removal.

Oh. This is unnecessary and causes lots of errors. Should be removed. Just leave the files there, and allow me to delete them manually. My $0.02.

Okay. I've tried to delete files from the 'unwanted' folder, and I have to pause the torrent to do so. When I restart the torrent, same I/O error and have to recheck it to fix it.
