Do you use pre-allocate disk space?

It looks like another program tries to access those files exclusively. You may try to see what program does that with Unlocker.

Same I/O error one more time but with different torrent, and Unlocker message says: the file is not locked.
So what else I can try now?

Hmm, Dayman are you still available for builds? Haven't seen anything in seems to be currently 7 weeks.
Re: Unofficial 64-bit installer/archive 3.0.[6-11]/3.1.0alpha
Updated with latest git master and experimental on top of it.

Great Dayman! ill test your build and compare both alphas (sledges build). Having speed issues somehow.
Edit:
I don't know why but your build works good, while sledge's having limited speed problems. Is something different between these 2 alphas?

Re: Unofficial 64-bit installer/archive 3.0.[6-11]/3.1.0alpha
- 3.1.0 is out
- 3.1.0alpha builds removed
- 3.2.0alpha experimental build added
Re: Unofficial 64-bit installer/archive 3.0.[6-11]/3.1.0alpha
Thanks Dayman (and sledge) for their great work. Getting 3.1.0 as my current stable and 3.2.0 to test.

I think I'll stay away from 3.2 for now, but did you say the columns are no longer re-sizable? Or that the transition only to 3.2, because of the ini settings, would mess up the sizes and result in not being re-sizable.

Partially. 3.2.0 alpha builds will use Qt4, but experimental ones will use Qt5. Changing between Qt4 and Qt5 versions will render columns almost unusable, unless you fix it.
Anyway, this is a known Qt bug: https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-29559

Re: Unofficial 64-bit installer/archive 3.0.[6-11]/3.1.0alpha
I knew that Dayman would provide builds, that's why I didn't withhold the git changes.
Currently 3.1.0 and 3.2.0 should be identical. Unless you use qt5....
Anyway, I am currently way too sleepy and tired to make an official tarball release and a Windows installer. Expect them in ~10 hours from now.

Thank you very much, good sirs!
Re: Unofficial 64-bit installer/archive 3.0.[6-11]/3.1.0alpha
no problems so far with the QT5 build
I vote for merge for 3.2

The progress bar now actually looks good and modern (on Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, at least) !
However, checking and UNchecking a few options takes more time (~5 seconds) to be applied (sometimes - notably immediately after startup), and qBittorrent remains unresponsive in that period. So far, the options Enable embedded tracker, Exchanging Tracker with other peers and Always announce to all trackers seem to have this problem.
Otherwise the builds with Qt5 are perfectly fine. I have not yet experienced any problems.

3.2.0alpha and experimental builds updates. Mostly contains some hotfixes for RSS and scheduler code; also uses libtorrent 0.16.12 which was just released today.
